Tucson Veteran Standdown
Shears of Hope is teaming up with Serve Society to bring our mobile haircare unit to Tucson for a special day of service dedicated to local Veterans. On March 10th, licensed barbers and stylists will provide no-cost haircuts in a welcoming, dignified environment—because something as simple as quality haircare can restore confidence, pride, and a sense of being seen. Old Pueblo Community Services
We are in need of barbers and stylists to serve with us at Old Pueblo Community Services’ Re-entry Recovery Community. This program provides Transitional housing with supportive services (i.e. housing navigation, peer support, counseling, life skills groups, etc.) for those re-entering society post-incarceration.

HOPE In the Park
We are in need of Barbers and Stylists to help provide haircuts at Freedom Park for the Hope In the Park event. This event is a resource fair intended to connect unhoused individuals with the following services:
Health Screening, Shelter/Housing, Ticket Assistance, Legal Assistance, Clothing, Haircuts, Animal Care, Behavioral Health, VA Benefits, Food, Raffles, and much more!

We are in need of barbers and stylists to serve with us at Casa Del Pueblo. This program is a low-barrier shelter which provides compassionate housing for persons who are unable to get into traditional shelter due to conditions such as substance use, mental health conditions, pets, or partners.

We are in need of Barbers and Stylists to provide haircuts at the Primavera Foundation Resource Center. The resource center provides drop-in respite and emergency services through Primavera’s Homelessness Intervention and Prevention Program. It is a designated coordinated entry site (only one of two facilities offering in-person appointments). The program also provides rapid rehousing services.
